...BTS put some thought into their lyrics, and they put some thought into how their English lyrics come off when they inject them into certain parts of their songs, without them being too out of place or too Engrish-y or clumsy or cringing or obligatory. I think a lot of that quality control is due in large part to Rap Monster.
And thank God, there is at least one group in K-pop who is into making cohesive, coherent full-length albums that tell a narrative or incorporate themes within well-crafted songs-- albums that really inform the audience where they are at that particular moment in time-- rather than hard-selling the audience a half-assed concept for one title song.
