Winner's recent teaser made me notice something. When you look at all their content fundamentally, YG does show favouritism to iKON over all it's artists, besides Big Bang. They've now comeback 3 times now with 6 different MVs for their debut album alone which is definitely more than YG's done for any other recent comebacks.
BUT
And this may just be my opinion, in regards to iKON, YG seems to have gone for quantity over quality in terms of production. iKON have had plenty of teasers and video releases, but none of them, to me, seem to be up to par with stuff YG's other artists have released (Dumb & Dumber comes the closest, but even that kinda falls short to me.)
When Winner was going to debut I got super excited because of how much work was put into the teasers. It wasn't too surprising after seeing the production value that had gone into Lee Hi's debut and comeback, AKMU's debut and 2NE1's comeback before then. I saw this pattern continue into Big Bang's MADE series and PSY recent comeback.
But the production value for iKON doesn't seem to have been as.
Lastly, this might just be me and I'm not saying this as if it's a bad thing ('cause it's not really), it's just something that I noticed and I was wondering if anyone else might agree.
